GEOFFREY D. RINGER graduated from the Catholic University of America (B.A. 1976), where he also received his law degree (J.D. 1981). He practices in the areas of personal injury and insurance defense, construction and transportation litigation, medical malpractice defense, products and premises liability, and governmental liability.
Mr. Ringer represents a diverse range of clients, including manufacturers, health care professionals and major insurance companies. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Ringer has been a frequent invited lecturer at the annual business meeting of the Conference of Circuit Judges, and has served on numerous local and state bar committees relating to trial practice. Mr. Ringer is also a graduate of the Trucking Litigation Workshop sponsored by Mayflower Transportation and the American Law Firm Association's Trucking Practice Group. |
ROBERT D. HENRY graduated from Southern Methodist University (B.B.A. 1978) and received his law degree from the University of Florida (J.D. 1981), where he was chairman of the Moot Court Team. His practice includes personal injury litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of professional malpractice, product liability and other tort claims, as well as the defense of medical professionals in administrative actions. He is a Florida certified mediator and an experienced pilot who handles litigation and administrative actions arising from aviation accidents and aviation regulatory infractions.
Mr. Henry is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute and has been invited to discuss medical malpractice issues before local organizations and at the national medical malpractice seminar of the Defense Research Institute. He has also presented the civil case law update at the annual business meeting of the Florida Conference of Circuit Judges. He has been listed among Florida’s Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine and has been named a Florida Super Lawyer.

MARTIN T. BUCKLEY received both his undergraduate degree (B.A. 1990) and his law degree (J.D. 1993) from the University of Florida. While in law school, he was awarded an Appellate Advocacy Program teaching fellowship. His practice includes personal injury litigation, product liability litigation, insurance defense, and construction litigation. Mr. Buckley’s practice also includes the representation of restaurants, hotels and entertainment establishments in various litigation matters, including general premises and liquor liability. Additionally, Mr. Buckley represents manufacturers and insurers in the defense of indoor air quality and toxic mold claims.
Mr. Buckley is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Buckley was chairman of the FDLA Insurance Coverage Committee in 2000.

PIERRE J. SEACORD received his undergraduate degree cum laude in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University (B.S. 1985) where he was nominated to the local chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma and served as a Senator for the School of Business. He received his law degree with honors from the University of Florida (J.D. 1988) where he participated on the Trial Team. His practice includes personal injury litigation and general insurance defense, including medical malpractice and legal malpractice. He also handles general commercial litigation and administrative actions involving the Agency for Healthcare Administration.
Mr. Seacord is a member of the Orange County Bar Association’s Federal and State Trial Practice Committee (1992-1997), Medical Law Committee (1989-1991) (1999-2004) and The Florida Bar’s Health Law Section (1993-present), Co-Chairman Meeting and Directory Committee (1996-1997), Judicial Qualifications Committee (1996-1999). He is a prior member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Central Florida Medical Malpractice Claims Council, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association. He has lectured on numerous occasions on topics relevant to lawyers, physicians, and insurance professionals. |
JOSEPH S. JUSTICE received his undergraduate degree in marketing (B.S. 1997) and his law degree (J.D. 2000) from the University of Florida. As an undergraduate, he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Business School Academic Honor Society and Golden Key National Honor Society. He practices in the areas of personal injury litigation, general insurance defense, medical malpractice defense and premises liability.
Named a shareholder in 2007, Mr. Justice’s practice includes representation of a major utility in general liability litigation, restaurants, hotels and other commercial clients in premises and general liability litigation, manufacturers and retailers in products liability litigation, and major liability insurance carriers in general insurance defense matters. |
LAURETTE A. BALINSKY received her undergraduate degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida (B.A. 2003) and her law degree from Florida A&M University College of Law (J.D. 2007). While attending law school, she interned with Judge Cynthia MacKinnon, Orange County Circuit Court Judge.
Ms. Balinsky practices in the areas of personal injury litigation, general insurance defense, medical malpractice defense and construction litigation. She is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. |
PAUL RICHARD BLOOMQUIST graduated magna cum laude from Florida Technological University (B.A. 1976) with a degree in Speech/Communications where he received a scholarship for intercollegiate debate. He received his law degree from the University of Florida (J.D. 1979). He has a civil trial and appellate practice. He has represented plaintiffs, defendants and governmental entities with respect to litigation involving medical malpractice, automobile negligence, premises liability and construction claims.
Mr. Bloomquist is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida where he is trial bar certified, the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

DANIEL R. FERRY graduated from the University of Missouri Law School (J.D. 1965). In 1966, he was elected Vernon County Prosecuting Attorney and served one term before becoming counsel for a committee of the U.S. House of Representatives. While serving as committee counsel, he completed his L.L.M. concentrating on conflict of laws from The George Washington University National Law Center in 1974. The late Georges DeLome, World Bank Senior Counsel and recognized authority on international conflict of laws, mentored Mr. Ferry during his studies at the National Law Center.
In 1974, Mr. Ferry opened his international practice in Washington, D.C. and today is the principle of Daniel R. Ferry & Associates, specializing in international personal injury litigation that includes subrogation recovery for major insurance companies and travel insurance underwriters. Mr. Ferry's litigation practice has covered over 37 years. As a result of his representation of the over 25,000 sponsored foreign national students of the governments of Egypt and Malaysia in the early 1990's, a private network of litigation specialists was set up through out the U.S., Canada and Mexico. These specialists, located in most major cities of North America, work with Mr. Ferry's litigation team in the state and federal courts of their particular jurisdiction. His law firm and his company, Foreign Traveler Advisory Services, Inc., (FTAS), provide representation to foreign nationals, Lloyds syndicates, foreign insurance companies, claims loss adjustors, travel/medical assistance companies (third party administrators) and individuals involved in legal disputes through out the Americas. SHARON A. FRAIND graduated summa cum laude from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri (B.S. 1975) with a double major in business administration and economics. She received her law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law in Columbia, Missouri (J.D. 1982). In addition to Florida, she is licensed to practice in Illinois, Missouri and Pennsylvania.
Ms. Fraind has broad and extensive experience in the legal field including representing both plaintiffs and defendants from individuals to banks and large corporations. Her practice has encompassed diverse areas of law including personal injury, criminal defense, medical malpractice, nursing home litigation and family law. |
ALAN P. MIRELMAN received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University (B.A. 2001) and his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (J.D. 2005), where he was selected to participate in the Advanced Skills in Trial Advocacy Program.
Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Mr. Mirelman began practicing with a small plaintiffs firm in Winter Park where he gained extensive experience litigating a variety of personal injury cases. He joined Ringer, Henry, Buckley & Seacord, P.A. as an associate attorney and practices in the areas of personal injury and insurance defense, construction and transportation litigation, medical malpractice defense, products and premises liability and governmental liability. |
